Can I just turn up on the day without booking first?

Bookings should be made in advance if at all possible to avoid disappointment, as group size is limited to make sure everyone has a great time. It also means we have your contact details in case a walk should need to be changed or cancelled, rare as this may be.

If you are unable to book in advance or decide late-on that you’d like to come along, it is always advisable if possible to check the website, or email/phone beforehand to make sure that the walk is still taking place.

How early should I arrive?

The walks are started promptly at the advertised time so please try to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the walk is due to begin.

Where are the meeting points?

The meeting point for each walk is given on the ‘walks’ page, along with a map.

What happens if a tour I've booked in cancelled?

This is unlikely and would only happen in cases of illness or very extreme weather conditions. If a tour does need to be cancelled we will let you know as early as possible via the website or by email or text if we have contact details.

If you have booked a tour which is cancelled, we will offer you the choice of a either a full refund or an alternative date if you prefer.

Are your tours suitable for everyone?

We will be walking for approximately 1 1/2 – 2 hours, however routes are chosen to be as flat and accessible as possible. If you are unsure or have any questions, please contact us before booking.

How should I dress?

The weather in England can be unpredictable so please check the forecast beforehand. Our walks will take place in everything but the most extreme weather conditions so please come prepared appropriately for rain or shine. And of course, comfortable footwear.

I've got a question that isn't covered here, what should I do?

Please email us with your question to or use the contact page and we’ll get right back to you.
